The condition of Khabib Nurmagomedov’s father, Abdulmanap, had reportedly improved. But it’s being reported today that sadly, the condition of the decorated coach has worsened and that Abdulmanap is on life support.

Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov is reportedly in a coma again

Last week it was reported that Khabib’s father was in critical condition, on account of heart issues, and that he was in a medically induced coma. The news prompted support from various MMA figures, including Conor McGregor and Dana White.

But, then it was reported that Nurmagomedov had improved and that he had regained consciousness. Unfortunately, however, RT is reporting today that multiple outlets in Russia have been informed Nurmagomedov is now on life support and in a coma once again.

The report states:

Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, father of UFC champ Khabib, is again in a coma and on life support after a worsening in his condition. The 57-year-old previously underwent heart surgery after suffering a stroke due to Covid-19.

Doctors at the military hospital in Moscow where he is being treated after undergoing a heart bypass operation were forced to connect the elder Nuramgomedov to a life support machine on Tuesday after his condition deteriorated, according to multiple reports in Russian media.

Khabib’s recent statement regarding his father and family

The news comes not long after Khabib released a video statement, in which he reported that his father’s medical crisis was tied to COVID-19. The UFC lightweight champ also reported that over 20 of his relatives have contracted coronavirus.

Hopefully, Abdulmanap battles back again and has full and speedy recovery.
