It’s been less than a week since former “Fuller House” actress Lori Loughlin plead guilty to charges against her in the college admissions scandal. However, it seems she is already trying to get special treatment when it comes to her prison sentence.
Fox News reported that Loughlin and her husband Mossimo Giannulli each took plea deals on Friday. Her deal would have her serving two months in prison and his would be serving five months.
A source close to the family has since told Us Weekly that the couple is already trying to get special treatment. The source says that they want to serve their sentences at separate times so that one of them can always be out of prison to emotionally support their daughters.
It should be noted that their daughters, Isabella and Olivia Jade, are two adult women in their 20s.
“Lori and Moss don’t want to serve their prison sentences at the same time. Among the reasons, even though their daughters are adults, Lori wants one parent to be free to provide emotional support to the girls,” the source said. “Lori’s concern all along has been Isabella and Olivia Jade.”

Although the couple has already plead guilty, the judge still needs to approve their sentences to make them official. That’s scheduled to happen on August 21.
The source went on to say that Loughlin is “preparing to be interviewed by the Bureau of Prisons for the pre-sentencing report which will be given to the judge to be used as guidance for formal sentencing.”
Another source also spoke out to say Isabella, 21, and Olivia Jade, 20, are both worried about seeing their parents go to prison.
“It will be surreal for Isabella and Olivia to visit them behind bars, but this is a much better outcome than what they envisioned,” the source told the outlet.
“As embarrassing and awful as it’s been, Olivia and Isabella still love their mom deeply, and it pains them to see her suffer.”
On top of the prison sentence, Loughlin’s deal has her paying a $150,000 fine along with two years of supervised release. And she will expected to do 100 hours of community service. Meanwhile, her husband will need to pay $250,000 fine with two years of supervised release and 250 hours of community service.
It takes a truly unbelievable level of arrogance and narcissism for Loughlin and Giannulli to demand special treatment after they refused to admit guilt and fought the charges against them for over a year.
They could have just plead guilty from the start, like actress Felicity Huffman did, and this would have all been over quite quickly. Instead, Loughlin and Giannulli dragged it out as long as possible, wasting the time and money of federal prosecutors, and therefore American taxpayers as well.
Loughlin and Giannulli should be focusing on how lucky they are to have been given such light sentences when they were each facing 45 years in prison.
They should have realized by now that they aren’t actually special. They will have to do time for their crimes just like any other criminal would, without any preferential treatment from the judge.
