Ellen DeGeneres bodyguard Tom Majercak

A former bodyguard for daytime talk show host Ellen DeGeneres just came forward to corroborate reports that she does not treat people well behind the scenes. Tom Majercak’s personal account adds to a growing number of reports outing Ellen’s nasty off-camera demeanor in recent weeks.

Recently, “Ellen” show staffers claimed the host left them in the dark about pay and about future employment for weeks after production of her talk show shut down in March due to coronavirus. To make matters worse, Ellen opted to use freelancers for her home streaming to freelancers rather than her full-time staff.

Then, a beauty blogger who appeared on DeGeneres’ show earlier this year spoke out to claim that the host was rude to her during the appearance.

Now, a former bodyguard of Ellen’s is saying that all of these reports are absolutely correct.

Ellen DeGeneres’ Former Bodyguard Goes Public

Tom Majercak told Fox News that he served as Ellen’s bodyguard during the 2014 Academy Awards. Ellen hosted the Oscars that year and Majercak was truly stunned by how she behaved.

On the night of the awards show, Majercak was tasked with escorting DeGeneres, her mother, and her partner, Portia De Rossi. He guarded the entourage throughout the event as well as to the glamorous post-ceremony Governor’s Ball.

Majercak’s experience with Ellen, who exudes a kind persona on her talk show, was not nearly what he’d hoped it would be that night.

“I’m holding their hands and walking them through individuals and large groups of people. Ellen is the one person that I’ve been assigned to — and I’ve been assigned to quite a few celebrities — that has never taken the time to say hi to me,” said Majercak, who spent ten years working as a senior manager of operations for Security Imagery Specialists (SIS).

He added that he spent “a lot of time” with De Rossi. In stark contrast to Ellen, Majercak said her partner was “very pleasant and carried on a conversation.”

“It started going negatively when she introduced me to Ellen and Ellen pretty much just gave me a side glance out of her eye and didn’t even say ‘hello,’ or ‘thank you for protecting my mother, my wife and me,'” Majercak continued.

“It was very cold and it was very sly and it was actually kind of demeaning in the way that she treats people other than those who are in her circle.”

Bodyguard Tom Majercak Never Forgot How DeGeneres Acted

Though it’s been six years, Majercak never forgot how Ellen DeGeneres acted that night. That certainly speaks volumes.

“It’s bugged me for years,” Majercak said. “I see this person come across as being very enlightened and positive and awesome and everybody loves her and is in awe and that’s really not the case when you meet her in person.”

“When you see her on TV, people fall in love with her but it is a false facade and bravado,” he continued.

“You start hearing these stories and I was like, ‘Man, there’s got to be more to this.’ She’s not the person she portrays to be that she’s playing off of society. That’s my opinion.”

Ellen DeGeneres Needs To Drop Her Persona

Tom Majercak concluded that Ellen needs to drop the kindness act. She shouldn’t be demanding that people be kind if she’s going to continue behaving so rudely behind the scenes.

“I can absolutely see through interacting with her first-hand that she doesn’t care about anybody else as long as she’s getting what she wants,” he concluded.

“People are starting to see her true self and that really lends to the support of what my initial thoughts of her have been over the last six years.”

Ellen DeGeneres herself has yet to comment on any of the allegations against her.
