No location has been announced for UFC 249 yet, but the promotion has released the event’s revamped line-up, which is planned to take place on April 18th.
Ever since the March 28th UFC Columbus card was postponed, due to the coronavirus pandemic, there was speculation that Francis Ngannou vs. Jairzinho Rozenstruik would be moved to UFC 249. The heavyweight fight was originally scheduled to headline UFC Columbus.
Well, as many predicted would be the case, if UFC 249 went through, that highly anticipated fight has bee added to the card.
Another all-star fight that has remained on the card is the rematch between Rose Namajunas and Jessica Andrade. The latter took the strawweight title from Namajunas at UFC 237 in May, 2017.
Andrade lost the belt to Zhang Weili a few months later in August, 2019.
Here is the complete line-up for the revamped, UFC 249 card. In the headliner, Tony Ferguson will battle Justin Gaethje for the interim lightweight title.
