Kevin Lee has had trouble making 155 pounds in the past, and he’s advocated for a 165-pound division as a result. Fast forward to today, and the contender has come in heavy for the UFC Brasilia headliner.
The fighters have already hit the scales in Brasilia, Brazil, in advance of Saturday’s card (which will be closed to the public due to the coronavirus). All of the fighters made weight, except for Lee, who was 158.5 pounds for his bout with Charles Oliveira.
Lee (18-5) moved up to welterweight last May, and was submitted by Rafael dos Anjos. “The Motown Phenom” returned to lightweight for a bout with Gregor Gillespie in November, which he won via first round, KO.
Oliveira (28-8), meanwhile, is riding a six-fight winning streak.
Here are the complete weigh-in results for Saturday’s UFC Brasilia event (via UFC.com).
