Various out-of-touch members of Hollywood’s liberal elite are in hot water this week for the way they publicly responded to the coronavirus pandemic. Currently at the top of this elite list are Ironman actress Gwynneth Paltrow, supermodel Chrissy Teigin, and reality star Scheana Shay. These ladies were all forced to delete or apologize for their thoughtless and insensitive comments.
First up is Oscar-winning actress and Goop founder Gwyneth Paltrow. The 47-year-old actress took to her brand’s Instagram page on Friday to post a selfie of herself promoting a $450 skirt and a $425 pair of sneakers.
“We’re in the middle of a world-wide pandemic, y’all really think anyone’s gonna buy an ugly a–s $450 skirt?” one social media user commented.
Goop quickly deleted the post, but not fast enough to save Paltrow from backlash, Fox News reports.
Paltrow, who fittingly starred in the movie Contagion, was also one of the first celebrities to fuel the mask buying frenzy. The actress posted a selfie of herself wearing a filtered mask while traveling all the way back in February.
Chrissy Teigen, a model who has become somewhat of an icon to liberals, was forced to apologize for a tweet she wrote over the weekend.

Social media users deemed her tweet about ordering gourmet soup from Boston “tone deaf”.
“This is not an ad but if you’re holed up at home, ordering America’s best food from Goldbelly is the way to go right now!” Teigen tweeted. “Currently shipping clam chowder from Boston to myself.”
When one social media user commented on Teigen bragging about being able to get cross country delivery, the model replied, “It was a ride. I didn’t mean it to sound like I don’t care about the pandemic? it was tweeted innocently, perhaps tone deaf but I like soup and if you can support these businesses, then that seemed cool but yeah if you can’t, then that is also fine, I am not shaming you.”

Scheana Shay, who stars on the reality television show “Vanderpump Rules”, also found herself apologizing. The reality star defiantly posted that she refused to live in isolation over the weekend.
“Any of my friends working from home this week should come join me for a Palm Springs quarantine!” Shay tweeted.
When a fan called her out for ignoring the seriousness of coronavirus, Shay replied, “Yes. That was my plan. Legit did not realize the severity of this all til I got home, tried to get groceries, researched & spoke to several people today. I am not a person who regularly watches the news. I do not go on social media to read the news. It’s all just so negative.”
This serves as yet another reminder of just how out of touch with reality most celebrities really are.
Which is exactly why it’s so ridiculous that so many leftwing voters listen to the Hollywood elite spout politics. These overpaid stars live pampered lives in a bubble and have no idea what’s going on in the real world.
Yet they somehow think they have the right to lecture the rest of America about how to live our lives.
The average Hollywood celebrity would not last a day in the life of a working class American.
If anything, we should be the one lecturing Hollywood stars about politics. Not the other way around!
