In response to a viral video documenting the horrific effects bullying has had on a young boy, ONE Championship's Chatri Sityodtong has shared out an emotional response and offer.

A video showing a distraught and devastated nine-year-old boy, after being bullied at school, has gone viral, and ONE Championship CEO Chatri Sityodtong has reached out to him with words of encouragement. In addition, Sityodtong has offered to fly the boy and his family out for an all-expenses-paid trip to Singapore, and the Evolve Gym.

Sityodtong responds to Quaden Bayles

A video Bayles’ Mother took has gone viral, which shows the young boy crying and threatening to kill himself, after being bullied at school. Bayles reportedly has Achondroplasia dwarfism.

In response to the video, a Go Fund Me page was set up to fund a trip for Bayles to Disneyland and has already brought in over $200,000.

In the video below, Sityodtong told Bayles (quotes via MMA Junkie):

“I just want to let you know that you have a friend in Asia,” Sityodtong said. “I want you to know that God gives his toughest battles to his bravest and toughest soldiers, and for sure you are one of them.”

“Our instructors will be sure to bully-proof Quaden. If he wakes up from his nap, we plan to FaceTime tonight. Yarraka said that he might sleep through the night. If so, we will FaceTime tomorrow. Let us all take the opportunity to show little Quaden how much the world cares.”

Sityodtong posts update

Following his initial video, Sityodtong shared out this update:

I just wanted to share an update on Quaden Bayles. I just spoke to his amazing mom, Yarraka, over the phone. She has graciously accepted my invitation to come to Singapore for an all-expenses-paid vacation so Quaden can learn martial arts at EVOLVE.

This is great to hear!
