2020 Elimination Chamber Main Event Leaked

Elimination Chamber always has a big influence on the title defences for WrestleMania. Just last year, Kofi Kingston worked his way up from Elimination Chamber to becoming the WWE Champion. This year will not be any different, as the winner of the Chamber will take on none other than Bray Wyatt. Since we now know what the Elimination Chamber main event will be, speculation for WrestleMania 36 are running rampant.

Elimination Chamber Main Event Revealed By Local Advertisements

Even though the WWE has not revealed the participants of the main event, local advertisers have. This isn’t the first time the company has had to deal with a leak like this. But, they are probably not too happy about it. Remember, the coming weeks are meant as a build-up towards the Chamber. Now, the company will have to find a storyline they can use to keep their viewers interested.

On several local advertisements, it has been revealed that the Elimination Chamber will include Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman, Daniel Bryan, Shinsuke Nakamura, Baron Corbin and Robert Roode. Evidently, the man who wins this event will go on to face The Fiend.

To understand just how serious the leak is, you have to remember that the company is heading to Saudi Arabia for Super ShowDown first. In other words, they still need to build that event before they can even continue to Elimination Chamber. Does that mean the company will need to adjust their plans?

Consequences For Wrestlemania 36?

Now that we have the match card for the Chamber, we can start to speculate about the consequences for Wrestlemania 36. Even though there are quite a few men in the Chamber, there are some clear favorites moving forward.

The Favorites

One of the favorites to face The Fiend is Daniel Bryan, as he has been locked in a feud with him in the past. The feud has been really good as well, so the company could repeat it on a bigger stage. The superstar who returned from retirement last year is our first pick, especially when you look at the other men in the Chamber.

It is unlikely that Roman Reigns or Baron Corbin will go on to face The Fiend, although Corbin does stand a minute chance to get that honor. However, Roman and Corbin have been embroiled in their own feud and it could continue until WrestleMania 36. On the other hand, the Chamber could end the feud between both men permanently and one of them could head on to The Grandest Stage of Them All.

Braun Strowman, on the other hand, has been chasing the Intercontinental Championship. Since Shinsuke Nakamura currently holds the title, their title feud could continue to WrestleMania. So, neither of these two men should get the win at the Chamber.

The dark horse in this event is Robert Roode who is part of Corbin’s following. He could play a role in eliminating Roman and at WrestleMania 36. However, I don’t see him winning the Chamber at this point and going up against the Fiend. He is a good wrestler, but the WWE has not built him enough up to this point.
