AEW’s Shanna and WWE’s Renee Michelle seemed to have confirmed Blanchard’s mistakes from the past. We also learned that La Black Rose was the alleged person Blanchard spit on and called the n-word.
Tessa Blanchard will look to make history tomorrow night. She is booked to taking on Impact Wrestling World Champion Sami for Hard To Kill. If Blanchard wins, she will be the first female to hold the Impact World Championship.
Now, on the eve of the biggest match of Blanchard’s career, she is facing backlash. It started this morning after sending out the following tweet, which seemed to indicate that women who stick together in the pro wrestling business can go far.
Then, things starting getting messy. Several wrestlers have come out and accused Blanchard of making poor decisions such as using derogatory names and bullying. Sienna claimed that Blanchard once spit in a women’s face and called her the n-word. NXT’s Chelsea Green and Priscilla Kelly also got involved.
Blanchard then sent out the following reply.
Hard To Kill is tomorrow, January 12, 2020. The event comes from the The Bomb Factory in Dallas, Texas. Anything could happen with booking, but it appeared that Impact Wrestling was looking to put the belt on Blanchard for months. It will be interesting to see if management goes a different direction.
