Military Turns On Prince Harry: ‘Disgusted At The Disrespect To The Queen’

As a veteran of the armed forces, Prince Harry has always had the support and loyalty of the British military. However, that is all changing this week as military members turn on him. Citing their disgust at the way Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle have treated his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth.

Military Turns On Prince Harry

The now 35-year-old Prince served on the frontlines in Afghanistan. And has since made efforts to help veterans through his charitable work which includes the Invictus Games.

However, Breitbart News reports that members of the military are no longer supporting Harry after he blindsided his grandmother this week by announcing that he and Meghan would be stepping down as senior royals.

“Prince Harry has every right to want to balance his responsibilities between the Royal family and his wife and young family,” one “highly decorated” Army source told The Telegraph. “But first and foremost Harry was a commissioned officer who pledged allegiance to the Queen and the Queen is his grandmother, so when push comes to shove, Queen and country come first.”

Captain James Glancy Blasts Prince Harry

Captain James Glancy, a veteran of the Special Boat Service (SBS), made similar comments about Harry during an interview on Nigel Farage’s radio show.

“Harry’s been a great public servant,” Glancy began, citing the royal’s “two tours of Afghanistan” and “brilliant work in charity… especially with the Invictus Games.”

“But his behaviour in the last year is not becoming of somebody that holds these important positions, these patronages, including that of the Captain General [of the Royal Marines],” he said. “Now I’ve spoken to other Royal Marines and other people in the military and they’re very upset if not disgusted at the disrespect to the Queen by not discussing [his plans with Meghan].”

“If he wants to leave those positions, if he wants to go abroad with his wife, he’s absolutely entitled to have another life and he’s entitled to live overseas,” Glancy continued. “But you can’t do this half and half. You’re either in or you’re out.”

Royal Marines Frustrated As Well

The Royal Marines have reportedly grown frustrated with Harry in recent months as well. Since his marriage to Meghan, certain members feel the Prince is more concerned with being a “woke” politically active celebrity than helping veterans.

“A lot of lads were not impressed that he was just given a beret and his commando badges yet he did nothing for them, not one run, nothing [in the first place],” one military source said. “He won’t be missed. His Dad [Prince Charles], who heads the Paras [Parachute Regiment] underwent the jumps course before the Army would let him wear wings, yet we just gave our beret and badges away.”

Members of the British military put their lives on the line for the Queen every day. So it’s understandable that they don’t want to see her disrespected in any way. Especially by her own flesh and blood.

The Duke of Sussex is a grown man and thus can can leave the royal family if he so chooses. But Harry and Meghan’s decision to blindside his 93 year-old grandmother was both classless and unacceptable.

With the British military turning on Prince Harry, it won’t be a surprise if more members of the British public follow suit and side with the Queen.

Queen Elizabeth deserves all the love and support she can get right now. Not a spoiled prince and his celebrity wife.
