Jane Fonda Claims Kids Suffer From ‘Extinction Illness’ Related To Climate Change

Radically liberal actress and activist Jane Fonda appeared on CBS’ “Late Show with Stephen Colbert” last night. The 82-year-old Fonda decided to hijack the segment to talk about her latest liberal cause: climate change.

Jane Fonda Arrested For Protesting Climate Change

Over the past several weeks, Fonda has been proudly getting herself arrested in the name of climate change. The Oscar winner’s weekly arrests are part of the Fire Drill Friday protests at the Capitol in Washington D.C.

The extremely liberal host Stephen Colbert could not resist giving Fonda a platform to push her cause on his show.

“I want to talk to you about a subject near and dear to your heart, and it should be near and dear to all of our hearts, you started these “Fire Drill Fridays” about climate change. Tell me about what your objective is here,” he said.

“Well, humankind is facing the greatest crisis that we’ve ever faced,” Fonda replied. “And there were all of these young students who were sacrificing a lot and working so hard… And I’ve spent a lot of time, now, with these young students, and they’re scared, and a lot of young people are even suffering from — they’re calling it extinction illness — and I just felt it wasn’t doing enough.”

Fonda Pushes False Climate Change Narrative

What Fonda said next explains the underlying cause for this so-called “extinction illness” among our youth.

“The scientists are saying we have ten years before it’s going to so far over the cliff that there’s no turning back,” she said. “We’ll just, the environment and climate will unravel and there’s nothing we can do.”

Yes folks. Kids are being indoctrinated by the false claim that the world will end in a decade. No wonder they’re freaking out! This “extinction illness” seems reminiscent of the snowflakes and safe spaces phenomena.

Of course, the claim that the world is going to end in 10 to 12 years has been refuted many times by prominent scientists.

However, liberals like Fonda don’t let little things like facts get in the way. Not when the unsupported claim furthers their agenda to scare young people into voting for Democrats.

Fonda herself is far more focused on patting herself on the back for using her “fame” and “platform” to do something “good.”

Fonda’s Narcissism Comes Out

“So, I said I’m famous, I have a platform, I’m going to move to D.C., I’m going to put my body on the line and I’m going to do these things in the process, I’m going to learn a lot, too, and the young people have been with me all the way, and it’s incredible what’s happened,” she said.

“It’s amazing what happened. Every Friday, more and more people have come from all over and most of them have never engaged in civil disobedience before and risked getting arrested.”

Scaring young people in this way is a new low for the left, and they should all be ashamed.

Democrats are working to convince an entire generation that the world is about to end. Just as a means to an end. If that’s not truly despicable, I don’t know what is!

Anyone who listens to an actress like Jane Fonda about any cause should have their head examined. She has shown for decades that she has no idea what she’s talking about when it comes to politics, or anything for that matter.

It’s time for Fonda to go back to her Hollywood mansion where she belongs, and to leave the younger generation to think for themselves.
