The Most Legitimate Female Fighters in World Wrestling Entertainment

World Wrestling Entertainment has some legitimate female fighters, who have experience in martial arts, boxing, and other fighting sports. But who are these women in the WWE? And which are the most lethal fighting weapons? Let’s find out!

NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler

Shayna’s background is well-known to the World Wrestling Entertainment universe. She began her career in mixed martial arts and trained under former UFC heavyweight champion John Barnett. While there are other female fighters on the roster who had a career in the UFC, Shayna Baszler had a 15-year career in MMA and is currently 39 years old!

World Wrestling Entertainment’s First Lady Lacey Evans

Looks can deceive. While Lacey may look like the perfect lady of the WWE, she is certainly not someone who you would want to face in a genuine fight. Evans did a long stint in the United States Marines and was even a member of the Special Reaction Team, a unit that only handles high-risk situations. Needless to say, Lacey is definitely high on this list.

NXT’s Recent Acquisition Taynara

There are plenty of female fighters in NXT aside from Shayna Baszler. One of them is one of the NXT’s most recent acquisitions, Taynara. She has an extensive background in Judo and even holds a blue belt in Jiu-Jitsu. Even though she’s only 24, she is a four-time state champion in Judo and even participated in the Olympic trials for 2016. She is another example of how looks can be quite deceiving.

The Supernova From Moldova Marina Shafir

Marina Shafir is another former UFC fighter who signed with World Wrestling Entertainment. When she made her debut in 2012, she secured a quick victory with an armbar. Even though her UFC career wasn’t that long, she does have a history in judo too. So, it would be unwise to pick a fight with this girl.

UFC Veteran Jessamyn Duke

Another former UFC fighter who joined the WWE – yes, there are a lot of them – is none other than Jessamyn Duke. She started her UFC career with three wins and also holds a purple Jiu-Jitsu belt.

One Of the Most Dangerous Women On The Main Roster – Sonya Deville

Sonya Deville started in fighting sports at the tender age of fifteen. She has a background in MMA and was the first female mixed martial artist to join the WWE. She also has an extensive background in Judo, Muay Thai, and Jiu Jitsu. So, this is a woman you do not want to pick a fight with.

WWE’s First Chinese Woman Xia Li

Xia Li was the first Chinese woman to join the WWE and she is a legitimate badass. She has got an extensive background in Wushu, which is considered the Chinese version of Kung Fu. While Wushu is not as known as Muay Thai and Jiu-Jitsu, it is a full contact sport with some seriously dangerous moves. So, Xia Li rightfully conquered a spot on this list. We hope to see more of Xia Li in the future, as her appearances have been quite sporadic of late.
