Bill Cosby Gives His First Interview From Prison – Expresses Zero Remorse

Then-comedian, now-felon Bill Cosby just gave his first interview from prison. In the interview, Cosby showed no remorse for the vile crimes that landed him there.

Bill Cosby Discusses Prison Life

Fox News reported that Cosby, 82, maintained his innocence as he openly discussed life in prison for the first time while serving his three-to-ten year sentence.

The disgraced comedian chose to break his silence in an exclusive interview with BlackPressUSA.com.

“I have eight years and nine months left,” Cosby said. “When I come up for parole, they’re not going to hear me say that I have remorse. I was there. I don’t care what group of people come along and talk about this when they weren’t there. They don’t know.”

“It’s all a setup. That whole jury thing. They were imposters,” Cosby continued. He then went on to say that one juror was overheard before his trial saying, “He’s guilty, we can all go home now.”

 Assault Conviction

Cosby was found guilty of drugging and sexually assaulting former Temple University employee Andrea Constand back in 2004. Numerous women came forward with similar accusations against Cosby. A man who was once beloved by Americans everywhere for his 1980s television program “The Cosby Show” and tear-inducing standup.

In all, Cosby was convicted of three counts of felony assault.

In the interview, Cosby also talked about his long-running self-titled sitcom “The Cosby Show”. He said syndication of the popular 1984-1992 sitcom was pulled from the air and streaming services after women came forward against him.

Cosby described this as an example of those in power suppressing anything positive that comes from the black community.

Bill Cosby Plays The Victim

“When ‘The Cosby Show’ came on with the Huxtables, just think about it. While it was running, other networks and even the media were doing jobs on trying to belittle whatever it represented,” Cosby said.

“While new shows were coming and we had gone off the air – this is the worst time in the history of television – I remember hearing shows coming on advertising saying this is not ‘The Cosby Show,’ which is an indictment in itself.”

“They did not like what ‘The Cosby Show’ looked like for us, and many of us traded into it,” he continued. “Now, look at what has happened. They’ve taken everything that I’ve done and swept it into a place where it would not be shown.”

It’s sad to see how far Cosby has fallen in life. And it’s also tragic to see that he has not taken any responsibility for his actions.

Hopefully, as he spends the next few years behind bars, he can find some remorse for the terrible pain he has caused his victims.

James Conrad

James Conrad’s passion for politics is only overshadowed by his longstanding interest in Hollywood. His unique perspective as a gay conservative fuels him to challenge celebrity views and those who think they have a right to tell anyone how to think or vote. James proudly wields his minority point of view to combat identity politics and cut through his typecast. Fun fact: James’ guilty pleasure is the British royal family.
