The rivalry between Jeremy Stephens and Yair Rodriguez has only been growing since their disappointing fight last month, and that was evident today at the ceremonial weigh-ins for UFC Boston.
Rodriguez – Stephens 1
The featherweights were booked to fight in the main event of UFC Mexico City last month. But, the fight was called off at the 15 second mark, after Stephens took an eye poke and was ruled ineligible to continue. Rodriguez, however, questioned whether “Lil’ Heathen” could have in fact continued, and that didn’t go over well with Stephens. Case in point, the two had a brief incident / scuffle in a hotel lobby the next day.
