Chris Weidman was hoping to lock-up a fight with light-heavyweight king Jon Jones tonight at UFC Boston. But, Dominick Reyes may have done so by quickly putting away the former middleweight champ.

Round one

Reyes fired some kicks moments in but Weidman countered nicely with a takedown. Reyes got back to his feet, and moments later, he floored Weidman with a booming left. Reyes punished Weidman with several more hammer fists from above and referee Herb Dean stopped the fight. Wow.

After the bout, Reyes called for a fight with the champ Jones.
