An NXT Superstar Is Speaking Out About Her Domestic Violence Experience
When you look at Mia Yim, you see a strong, confident woman-she refers to herself as the HBIC of NXT, after all.
However, in spite of her status as one of the top females on the NXT brand, Mia Yim has an unexpected back story. Specifically, Mia Yim was previously a victim of domestic violence. Yim, for her part, is using her platform to speak out as a survivor.
“I didn’t fit the stereotype of what a domestic violence survivor looks like.” @MiaYim, @WWE @WWENXT superstar. #IamCredible https://t.co/fouvcru7av

Mia Yim. Her journey to get to WWE, being told no but she still continued. She bounced back from an injury. From dealing with domestic violence. Abusive relationships, which i’ve dealt with. Mia is truly my hero. You’re the reason i keep going to achieve my dreams. ily?thank you pic.twitter.com/TiKiNVO4D9

The reason why @MiaYim is my hero, mentor, and role model. #FellowDVSurvivor
Mia Yim is a survivor of domestic violence just like me. (I was abused in a relationship with a mean ex girlfriend named Celia but that’s another story.) https://t.co/VaYs5Nkzfc— ricky j kuron (@rickyjkuron) December 22, 2018
For someone of Yim’s stature to openly talk about her past and champion for victims is vitally important and will no doubt help others moving forward.
Jerry Lawler Steals Famous Finishers At Indy Show
Recently, Jerry Lawler worked an indy show. In his match, he happened to make use of both a Stone Cold Stunner and a Rock Bottom.
Apparently I “borrowed ” everyone’s finisher in this match! @TheRock @steveaustinBSR sorry! https://t.co/f53lutN1XP

So far, at least The Rock responded (and was totally fine with the WWE Hall of Famer using his finisher).
