‘Duck Dynasty’s Sadie Robertson Gets One Step Closer To Marriage – ‘I Woke Up Grateful To God’

The eldest daughter of Willie and Korie Robertson celebrated her bridal shower on Saturday. Sadie Robertson, best known for starring on the reality show “Duck Dynasty” with her family, is set to wed her longtime beau and fellow believer in Christ, Christian Huff.

Fox News reported that Sadie took to Instagram to show off her wedding ring and reveal that she was attending a bridal shower put together by the “amazing women” in her life.

“Bridal shower and I’m the bride WHAT!” Sadie, 22, captioned the photo.

“Waking up and putting on white today was something special. I woke up grateful to God for an answered pray of an amazing man I get to marry soon and amazing women in my life who shower me in love so beautifully. Someone said it best… I’m an extra level of happy right now.”

Korie Robertson Congratulates Daughter

Sadie’s mother Korie also took to Instagram to congratulate her daughter.

“Sadie-girl, you are so much fun to CELEBRATE and are going to be the most beautiful bride!! So many memories, words and prayers spoken over Sadie and Christian today,” Korie wrote alongside a photo of herself with her daughter.

“Overflowing love, wisdom and encouragement. Feeling very grateful. Thank you family and friends for making this day so special.”

Sadie’s younger sister Bella also got in on the action, sharing a selfie of herself with family and friends.

Sadie Robertson Gets Engaged To Christian Huff

This comes months after Sadie Robertson announced her engagement to Christian Huff back in June.

“I screamed YES. so many words and so many more pictures to come, but for now just know my friends I’m the happiest human in the world on June 9th, 2019 today and for the rest of my life,” Sadie wrote on Instagram at the time. “I GET TO MARRY THIS MAN. God is faithful and so so good.”

Shared Faith In God

The most important things that Sadie Robertson and fiance Christian Huff share are their love for God and family.

Christian shared intimate details of the day he proposed to Sadie. The way he leaned on his heavenly father and made sure that the day was special.

“Once we got there, we sat down to pray for our relationship. We even prayed over the ring. The moment was so full in the spirit.  We both had never felt every fruit of the spirit like we did that day, in that moment. Once I finished praying, I stood up and walked around the blanket with the biggest smile ever on my face and asked the question ‘Sadie, will you marry me?’
