Fans who have followed the career of Khabib Nurmagomedov know that his father played a pivotal role in guiding the undefeated fighter to where he’s at. In the latest “Anatomy of a Fighter”, Khabib’s longtime striking coach, Javier Mendez, heaps praise on Khabib’s father and main coach, Abdulmanap.
In the latest video shared out by “Anatomy of a Fighter”, cameras are on hand as Khabib and his team prepare in Dubai for UFC 242. As you surely know, Nurmagomedov is set to face interim lightweight champ Dustin Poirier at the event, which is taking place in Abu Dhabi.
Abdulmanap is cageside as Khabib gets some more sparring in, and the video also features Mendez crediting the champ’s father for the role he’s played in the star’s career.
