Corey Graves Apologizes To Mauro Ranallo + Cody Rhodes AEW PPV Plans

Has the SmackDown Commentary Team Been Revealed?

-With SmackDown’s impending move to Fox, there’s been plenty of chatter about changes to the show. One big change that’s long been rumored has been a change to the announce team-and, for that matter, changes to RAW’s as well.

We’ve already seen reports indicating that Renee Young is destined to host a WWE studio show on Fox, though nothing has been officially announced yet.

We’ve also covered the rumblings about the distinct brand announce teams several times.

Now, as the debut on Fox is growing closer, it seems the blue brand commentary team may have been revealed by accident.

Earlier in the week, @WrestleVotes said to expect that Corey Graves and others would end up with a dedicated show, but didn’t say who would be where.

Following Graves trolling Twitter with retirement insinuations, they came back and got a bit more specific.

If true (they do say “as of this Tuesday” so we know things can change), it will be nice to have dedicated voices to specific shows. It will also be interesting to see how the RAW team ends up looking.

New Star Heading To NXT Soon?

-According to PWInsider, NXT’s women’s division may be soon to get a new star.

That star? Former NXT UK Women’s Champion Toni Storm.

The debut is expected soon-possibly next Wednesday when the show goes live for the first time on USA?

Regardless, this move makes a ton of sense. Storm, who also won the 2018 Mae Young Classic, is a rising star. She would be following fellow UK alum Rhea Ripley to the main NXT brand, and perhaps in time to see some established NXT Superstars get called up.
