Vince McMahon To Run NXT? + Former WWE Champion Pregnant
There will be changes coming to NXT and that means Vince McMahon will have more say in the brand. Also, a former WWE Divas Champion is pregnant.
– While nothing has been confirmed by WWE or Fox, it is only matter of time until the announcement is made that NXT is headed to FS1. This is being done to battle All Elite Wrestling (AEW) as both promotions will be airing their show on Wednesday’s from 8 until 10 PM EST.
While most of the details about NXT airing on FS1 are still not known, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted Vince McMahon and Kevin Dunn will have a major say in what is booked. Up until now, NXT has been Triple H’s pet project as he handles all the responsibilities with Vince and Dunn focusing on main roster brands such as RAW and SmackDown. Triple H has received tons of praise for how he handles the wrestlers in NXT.
This means that Vince’s plate just got much larger. Besides having to worry about WWE shows, he also has the XFL relaunching next year. Many people consider NXT the top brand in WWE because in the past they did not have to worry about TV ratings as they only streamed on the WWE Network; so, they were able to focus on the product and pleasing advertisers.
With more people having input about what happens in NXT, this could lead to the brand losing its edge. An announcement about NXT’s future should be made shortly as Fox already told some of their affiliates about the addition coming to FS1.
– Former WWE superstar and Divas Champion Jillian Hall announced on social media that she expecting a child in March 2020. This will be her first child as she unfortunately suffered a miscarriage 14 weeks in several years back.
From everyone at WrestleNewz, congratulations to Hall.
