UFC Newark Weigh-in Results: Colby Covington & Robbie Lawler Hit Their Marks, Two Fighters Miss
The early weigh-ins for UFC Newark are over, and while all the bouts are proceeding, two fighters came in heavy.
The fighters have already hit the scales in Newark, New Jersey today, in advance of the UFC’s card there tomorrow. All of the scheduled fights are a go, but two fighters did miss weight.
Headliners and welterweight contenders Colby Covington and Robbie Lawler both hit their marks. The former interim champ Covington came in at 171, while the former champ Lawler was 170.
The two fighters who did miss weight were Dong Hyun Ma and Cole Williams, who came in 2 and 5 pounds heavy, respectively.
