Prince Charles Asked to Make Cameo in Last Bond Film Starring Daniel Craig

James Bond fans may be treated to a unique cameo in the last installment with Daniel Craig playing “007.” After visiting the set, the film’s producers officially invited Prince Charles to appear in the latest installment.

The film, simply called Bond 25 during filming, has suffered several setbacks.

A year ago, director Danny Boyle quit the project due to disputes over the script with producers. Then, in May this year, Daniel Craig, 51, fractured his ankle during a running scene in Jamaica.

While visiting the set, Prince Charles, 70, joked about the problems surrounding the latest Bond project.

“You haven’t had any more things blowing up recently?” he asked those on set that day.

With delays in filming and less than hoped for box office returns with the previous James Bond movie, producers hope landing Prince Charles for a rare cameo will garner more buzz.

“He is the epitome of everything British, perfect for a cameo role and Bond fans worldwide would absolutely love it,” a source told Fox News.

After all, fans of “007” loved the entrance of Queen Elizabeth with Bond at the London Olympics opening ceremony.

Prince Charles cameos

As a lifelong fan and supporter of British TV and film, Prince Charles has appeared as himself over the decades. In 2000, he made a cameo on Britain’s ITV series “Coronation Street.”

If he decides to appear in Bond 25, don’t expect to hear about it until the film is released in 2020.

“Any confirmation of a cameo is likely to be kept top, top-secret,” a source close to the production said. “But if Charles doesn’t go for it, Harry and Wills could be in producers sights next.”

Prince William and Harry aren’t strangers to film sets either. The brothers appeared as stormtroopers in Star Wars: The Last Jedi but were ultimately cut from the film for being too tall.

If Prince Charles decides to make an appearance in Bond 25 moviegoers will certainly be amused by it.
