New reports are coming in stating that former “Full House” star Lori Loughlin is “obsessing” over every detail of the college admissions scandal as she awaits trial with her husband, Mossimo Giannulli.

Loughlin Is “Obsessing” Over Case

“Lori is obsessing over every detail of the case,” a legal source told PEOPLE. “She’s not working, she’s not doing anything. She’s just reading the files again and again.”

“The family was told to remove their Google alerts and to stop searching their names because it’s not good for them to see what’s being said,” the source continued. “But this is a full-time concern of hers.”

Loughlin and Giannulli allegedly paid $500,000 in bribe money to have their two daughters admitted to the University of Southern California as recruits for the crew team, even though neither girl had ever rowed before. Both of them have pleaded not guilty and are facing forty years in prison if convicted.

The source said that Loughlin is in “constant communication” with her legal team and is keeping “meticulous records” on everything, including the other defendants and their plea deals.

“She wants to know who is getting what punishment and how their cases differ from hers,” said the source.

Loughlin Sees Herself As Innocent

Other parents involved in the case, including “Desperate Housewives” star Felicity Huffman, took a plea deal that would only put them in prison for a few months. Loughlin and Giannulli, however, turned down this plea deal because they “weren’t ready to accept that.”

Daily Mail reported that this comes after it was reported that Loughlin has “definite regrets” over the college admissions scandal and is “embarrassed” by it, but that she sees herself as innocent because she claims to have thought that she was doing nothing more than making a donation when she bribed her daughters into school. A source said the reason she pled not guilty was because she allegedly did not know that Rick Singer, the mastermind behind the bribery, lied to USC by pretending her daughters were crew stars to get them into the school.

“Lori is remorseful, and she has definite regrets. She’s embarrassed and hurt, and she knows that her reputation has been ruined for life,” the source said. “But she also believes the allegations against her aren’t true. She honestly didn’t think what she was doing was any different than donating money for a library or athletic field,” the source continued. “That’s the crux of why she pleaded not guilty.”

Loughlin Wants This To Be Over

The source added that Lori “is ready for this to be over” and that her family is as well.

“They all are. At this point, it would be better to spend a few months in jail – because she’s been spending the last several months in her own prison,” the source said.

The trial is expected to take place early in 2020. It will certainly be interesting to see how that turns out and what new information comes out during it.
