Legacy Fighting Alliance 74: Renan Ferreira Submits Jared Vanderaa

Renan Ferreira locked in a triangle choke and did not let go, submitting Jared Vanderaa in the main event of Legacy Fighting Alliance 74.

The main card aired live on AXS TV from the Riverside Municipal Auditorium in Riverside, California.

After a back-and-forth heavyweight headliner, it was Ferreira getting the best of Vanderaa on the ground. Kevin Wirth topped Ryan Lilley via decision in the co-main event, as the bantamweight is now 8-1. The loss was the fifth in 15 pro fights for Lilley.

Lucas Rota knocked out Moses Murrietta in the first round, Liudvik Sholinian topped Vince Cachero, Salvador Becerra Jr. downed Steve Kozola, Leandro Gomes submitted Anthony Jimenez and Spike Carlyle knocked out Matthew Colquhoun.

Carlyle connected with a spinning back elbow in the first round to defeat Colquhoun and move to 7-1 at lightweight.

Main Event – Heavyweight Fight – Renan Ferreira (6-2) submitted Jared Vanderaa (9-4) with a triangle choke at 2:37 in round two.

Co-Main Event – Bantamweight Fight – Kevin Wirth (8-1) defeated Ryan Lilley (10-5) via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28).

Middleweight Fight – Lucas Rota (13-8) knocked out Moses Murrietta (8-3) via punches at 0:24 in round one.

Bantameight Fight – Liudvik Sholinian (6-1-1) defeated Vince Cachero (6-2) via (30-26, 29-28, 29-28).

Lightweight Fight – Salvador Becerra Jr. (7-2) defeated Steve Kozola (9-4) via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-27).

Bantamweight Fight – Leandro Gomes (4-1) submitted Anthony Jiminez (4-1-1) with a knee bar at 3:05 in round one.

Lightweight Fight – Spike Carlyle (7-1) knocked out Matthew Colquhoun (6-4) with a spinning back elbow at 3:58 in round one.
