Smackdown Live (7/9/2019): 8 pm EST

Show opens up and Kevin Owens goes off furiously with a pipebomb-style promo. Owens says he remembers when the entire McMahon family came out and said they were going to listen to the fans and give the fans what they want. But all Owens has seen is Shane McMahon getting all the TV time and calling himself “the best in the world” and it makes him sick.

Owens says he’s watched WWE his whole life and it is an absolute disgrace. Every time Shane calls himself that, everyone in the back thinks to themselves that Shane can kiss their ass. It’s an insult to all the workers who strive to become WWE superstars. They’ve deprived the real talents for too long, says Owens. Shane comes out and calls for Owens’ mic to be cut.

It gets cut but Owens grabs another mic and keep going, angrily denigrating the state of WWE. Officials end up running out to stop him and Owens takes off into the audience and away from the set. The commentators say that Owens just committed career suicide. They understand he’s upset but that was not a smart move, they say.
