Show opens up and new Universal Champion Brock Lesnar comes out to the ring with his advocate Paul Heyman. They tell everyone that they told them so. They told everyone that Lesnar was going to cash in his Money In The Bank contract and win the title back. Heyman says now that his client is champion, and since Heyman himself kind of runs the show at Raw now, he will make it so that the next contender can earn a shot at the belt. That shot will be determined in a star-studded Battle Royal later tonight, the winner of which will go on to face Lesnar at Summerslam.

Ricochet scores the first fall and Scott Dawson secures the second, each for their respective teams. The score is tied up. Ricochet delivers a 630 to Robert Roode and pins him for the 3-count.
A brawl breaks out after the match between the two teams. New United States Champion AJ Styles seizes the chance to blindside Ricochet with a Phenomenal Forearm. Styles, along with the rest of The Club, Gallows and Anderson, put a beating on Ricochet. Styles holds the belt over the helpless Ricochet and talks trash.

Joe picks up the win.
After the match, Joe continues to beat down Balor. He puts him in a Coquina Clutch but Balor manages to roll out and go on the counter-attack. Balor manages to drive Joe off. While Balor is in the ring celebrating, suddenly there is a strange noise and the lights go out. When the lights start to flicker back to life, it ends up up being Bray Wyatt wearing his Firefly Fun House Fiend mask. He hits Balor with a Sister Abigail. The crowd chants “Holy sh-t!” and Wyatt lets out a creepy laugh.

Mike gets belittled and demeaned by Maria Kanellis and then goes out and loses to Zack Ryder in under a minute. Maria berates him some more after the loss.

Ricochet comes out during the match and lays a beating on AJ Styles. The match is continued after things settle down and Ricochet takes his leave. Styles ends up being the one to roll Kalisto into a Calf-Crusher for the submission victory.
Styles continues to wrench on the hold after the bell and inches toward seriously injuring Kalisto. Then he lets go and pushes Kalisto out of the ring so he can celebrate with Gallows & Anderson.

The winner will face Becky Lynch for the title at SummerSlam. Becky’s music hits before the match can starts and she limps her way out to watch the No. 1 contenders match. The commentators point out how they didn’t expect her to be there tonight after getting hit with an End Of Days from Baron Corbin last night.
Match begins. Bliss camps out for a while and then scores a sneak pin on Carmella, who gets eliminated. Natalya then eliminates Naomi. It’s down to Nattie and Bliss for the shot at Becky’s title. Nattie ends up defeating Bliss and earning a shot against Becky.
After the match, Natalya says it’s going to be an honor to face her ‘friend’ Becky at SummerSlam. Becky gets into the ring after and says if Nattie thinks she’s facing a friend at SummerSlam, when she’s coming for Becky’s title, she’s got another thing coming. Becky says she’ll destroy Nattie in her home town and Nattie talks some trash back at Becky and calls her a ‘b-tch’.

The Miz comes out for an edition of Miz TV. His guest tonight is Dolph Ziggler, who asked to be on the show. Miz wants to know why Ziggler wanted to come on. Ziggler starts to question Miz’s mindset of late. He has heard rumors that Miz is just a company “Yes” man who’s just happy to be there. Ziggler says Miz has become everything he always hated and that’s because he just wants fortune and fame. That’s all Miz cares about, and Ziggler adds, “Just like your wife!” Miz lunges at Ziggler and sends him clamoring out of the ring.

Winner faces Brock Lesnar for the Universal Title at SummerSlam.
Cesaro is the first eliminated and Big E is the second. Sami Zayn is eliminated next. Rey Mysterio gets eliminated. Rollins eliminates Corbin. Rollins then manages to eliminate both Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman simultaneously. Orton runs up behind Rollins and nearly eliminates him. Rollins slugs it out from the apron but then Orton delivers a Draping DDT. Orton gets ready for an RKO but Rollins nails him with the Stomp and then throws him over the top rope. Rollins earns the title shot against Lesnar at SummerSlam.
Heyman congratulates Rollins on becoming the man who will be beaten and victimized at SummerSlam. Rollins tells Lesnar he’s a man possessed and he will take the title back when they face each other.
