
Khabib Nurmagomedov won the UFC’s lightweight title last year, defeated the sport’s biggest name in Conor McGregor, and now he’s made the cover of Forbes Russia.

Recently UFC President Dana White tweeted out the image and comments below regarding Nurmagomedov. According to a follow up report from MMA Junkie, the story says Khabib has made $11.5 million from his UFC bouts, and it also noted how massive his fight with McGregor was.

The vaunted grappler won the lightweight title last April by working his way to a clear cut, decision win over Al Iaquinta. Then, in October, Khabib tapped out McGregor at UFC 229, which was the biggest fight in UFC history.
Nurmagomedov is scheduled to fight interim champ Dustin Poirier on September 7th in Abu Dhabi.
