Is a Corey Anderson – Johnny Walker Bout on Deck?

As this is being written, nothing has been officially announced about Johnny Walker and Corey Anderson fighting next. But, there are some signs that the light-heavyweight contenders could be throwing down in a few months time.

Recently Anderson called for a bout with Walker, after alluding to his failure to secure a fight with the champ, Jon Jones. Walker, as you can see below, is on board with fighting Anderson.

So, we’ll see what happens here, but it’s match-up that makes sense. Anderson (12-4) has won three in a row and is ranked #8, while Walker’s (17-3) gone 3-0 to date in the UFC and is #12.
