WWE Hall Of Fame

WWE veteran and movie actor Batista revealed some interesting information during an interview with Sports IllustratedWhen asked who he would do a Batista Bomb on, he quickly answered “Donald Trump. Easy Answer.” Of course, this made for quite the interesting read, especially when you consider Donald Trump’s history with the WWE.

Batista’s History With The WWE

If you are not familiar with Batista in wrestling, you may know him from movies such as Guardians of the Galaxy and his more recent film Stuber. However, Batista is also a WWE veteran. He came from the same wrestling stable as John Cena and Randy Orton, WWE veterans in their own right.

When you think about Batista, you also think about the man who made wrestling cool. His entrance and imposing looks certainly stood out within the WWE. It led to a successful career and veteran status. Of course, like John Cena and The Rock, Batista has now branched out to movies. So, a lot of you might know him from the movie screen and not the wrestling ring.

Donald Trump’s History With The WWE

Trump has quite the extensive history with the WWE too. It is claimed Donald Trump is a wrestling fan, and he has been involved in WWE programming before his presidency.

The history between Trump and the WWE can be traced back to 1988; this is when WrestleMania IV was hosted at his Trump Plaza. The event would be at Trump Plaza the following year too.

One of the more memorable moments took place at WrestleMania 23, when Donald Trump and Vince McMahon were involved in the so-called ‘Battle of the Billionaires’. Both men had a wrestler representing them in a match. For Donald Trump, this was none other than Bobby Lashley. For Vince McMahon, this was Umaga. Interestingly enough, the special guest referee for this match was none other than Stone Cold Steve Austin. As Lashley took the victory, Vince McMahon got his head shaved. Trump later got taken out by a classic Stone Cold Stunner, a fact Batista is undoubtedly jealous of.

Because of his contributions to the WWE, Donald Trump was inducted into the WWE Hall of FAme in 2013. As you may know, he then became president three years later. Of course, not without its controversies. Many people who worked in the Trump administration have given their resignation over the years. He also made some statements to four congresswomen with international roots, telling them to ‘go back where they came from’. So, it is certainly not a surprise to find out Batista would love to Powerbomb the current POTUS…
