The beef between Israel Adesanya and Jon Jones continues to grow, as now “Bones” has offered to help train Robert Whittaker for his upcoming scrap with “The Last Stylebender”.

Tensions between Jones and Adesanya started ratcheting up, after the latter relayed he has the light-heavyweight champ in his sights.

Since then, the two have traded verbal jabs, and on ESPN’s “Now or Never” show, Jones said the following, when asked to comment on Whittaker (quote via MMA Junkie):

“I got nothing but respect for the him,” Jones said. “He seems like a stand-up guy and I can’t wait to see him stomp a mudhole in Adesanya.”

As you seen by the Instagram post below, Jones’ words got back to Whittaker, who in turn, praised his fellow champ.

After that, Jones proceeded to tell Whittaker this:

Just keeping it real, would be honored to train with you leading up to your fight. Let’s get you more than ready.

So, maybe we’ll see Jones heading to Australia in the coming months huh? First things first, however, as Jones will take on Thiago Santos at UFC 239, July 6th.

No date has been officially set yet for the Whittaker – Adesanya bout.
