Actor Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger — eldest daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver — tied the knot on Saturday in a private ceremony that was kept hush-hush from the media until the nuptials were over.

But the day after Chris, 39, and Katherine, 29, enjoyed their wedding, the social media savvy couple didn’t disappoint their fans and followers as they shared a charming photo of themselves newly married and happily smiling at each other.

“Yesterday was the best day of our lives!” The couple posted on Instagram. “We became husband and wife in front of God, our families and those we love. It was intimate, moving and emotional. We feel so blessed to begin this new chapter of our lives. We are so thankful to our families and our friends who stood with us and grateful to Mr. Giorgio Armani who created a once in a lifetime dress for Katherine to wear and for me, the perfect suit. This morning we feel nothing but blessed.”

Well-wishes came quickly from friends and family.

Katherine’s brother, model and actor Patrick Schwarzenegger, replied to Pratt’s post with a simple, “Love you brother.”

Actress Gwyneth Paltrow, who co-star’s with Pratt in “Guardians of the Galaxy,” replied giddily, “YAY! I love this picture. So happy for you both. This is the sweetest!!!! Congratulations you love birds. Wishing you a life of happiness.”

The groom’s six-year-old son, Jack, was in attendance — without his mother, Chris Pratt’s ex-wife, Anna Faris — at the “gorgeous venue” of the San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, Calif.

The couple was introduced in 2018 by Katherine’s mother who thought their shared deep and outspoken faith in God would make them a good match. Clearly, in this case, mother knew best.
