James Gallagher

James Gallagher is booked to fight Jeremiah Labiano at Bellator London on Saturday, but the Irish fighter nearly got into it today at the card’s pre-fight presser. Against who you’re probably asking?

Well, according to a follow up report from MMA Fighting, Gallagher was under the impression that a man who apparently said something to him during the event, was Labiano’s coach. Gallagher fired off this at the person during the presser:

“Mate, you sit there and shut your f*cking mouth. You’re a coach…you’re a coach…let your fighter do his thing. You sit and shut your f*cking mouth. It’s not your job, you coach him, you train him to come and fight and you sit there and you shut your f*cking mouth.”

But, here’s the thing, according to Labiano, the person Gallagher was trading verbal shots with isn’t his coach. Apparently Labiano said he “doesn’t know those guys”.

You can watch some of what went down below.

The 22 year-old Gallagher (8-1) is coming off a submission win over Steven Graham in February. Labiano (12-6) stopped Justin Smiley this past September in his last outing.
