Former WEC champion and UFC title contender Urijah Faber will end his retirement to take on Ricky Simon this July.
Faber and Simon will be part of the UFC on ESPN+ 13 card set for July 13 from the Golden1 Center in Sacramento. The bout was first reported by Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Faber (34-10) failed four times in his attempt to win UFC gold, but was 10-2 overall in 12 other Octagon appearances. That included a win in his retirement bout vs. Brad Pickett.
Simon is 3-0 with the UFC, 15-1 overall and currently riding an eight-fight win streak.
