Jessica Andrade became the new UFC strawweight champion in thrilling fashion at UFC 237 Saturday night.

Andrade unseated Rose Namajunas atop the division with a vicious second round slam. The card aired live on ESPN+ pay-per-view from the Jeunesse Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

In the co-main event, Jared Cannonier earned the biggest win of his career, finishing former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva in the first round. Alexander Volkanovski topped ex-UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo via decision in another key bout.

Laureano Staropoli defeated Thiago Alves and Irena Aldana submitted Bethe Correia.

Ryan Spann, Thiago Moises, Warlley Alves, Clay Guida, Luana Carolina, Raoni Barcelos and Viviane Araujo were all prelim winners.
