Smackdown Live: 8 pm EST

Show opens up and Roman Reigns comes out to the ring and he brings out The Miz to help him take on Shane McMahon, Elias and the rest of The Authority. Miz starts cutting a promo on Shane but then Shane’s music hits and he comes out with Elias in tow. Shane tells Miz that he’s banned from the building. He adds that, since they aren’t likely to leave willingly, he’s going to call him some help to remove them. Daniel Bryan and Rowan come out and all four surround the ring, and Reigns and Miz brace for a fight.

It ends up being a 4-on-1 beatdown, until The Usos run out to Reigns and Miz’s aid. The babyfaces repel the heels and send them retreating up the aisle and away from the ring. Both sides eye each other down from across the set and the commentators say that this beef is far from over.

Shane makes a match of himself, Bryan, Rowan and Elias against Reigns and The Usos. He says there will be consequences if Miz breaches him ban and comes anywhere near the match.

Andrade spikes Balor with a Hammer-Lock DDT for the 3-count.

Winner: Andrade

After the match, Andrade climbs a ladder to symbolically grab the MITB briefcase hanging above the ring. Ricochet ends up running out, springboards up onto the ladder and knocks Andrade off. Instead, it is Ricochet who grabs the briefcase.

Kevin Owens has WWE Champion Kofi Kingston on The Kevin Owens Show ahead of their title match this Sunday. Sami Zayn ends up coming out and ambushing Kofi, and he and Owens batter the champion. Xavier Woods runs out to the rescue but he gets thrown into the steel post for his trouble. Owens continues beating down Kofi, as Zayn hovers nearby and watches with satisfaction. Owens screams in Kofi’s face, telling him that he could finish him off right now. But he won’t. He’s leaving just enough so he can crush the rest of it out of him this Sunday.

Owens turns to leave but then turns back and goes for a Cannon Ball. Kofi moves and then goes on the offensive. He ends up driving Owens and Zayn off. Owens looks angrily back from the main stage as Kofi talks some trash from ringside.
