Monday Night Raw: 8 pm EST

Show opens up and WWE Champion Kofi Kingston and Universal Champion Seth Rollins come out for an answer about who Brock Lesnar will cash his MITB contract in on. Lesnar comes out with Paul Heyman and he’s turned his MITB briefcase into a boombox. Lesnar jams out to both Kofi’s and then Rollins’ theme songs. Lesnar playfully smiles but Rollins isn’t having it and he leaves. Heyman says Rollins just ruined the reveal for everyone and they’re not going to reveal it after all now.

As they leave, Dolph Ziggler ends up ambushing Kofi from behind and puts a beating on him. Xavier Woods runs out to his friend’s rescue and drives Ziggler away.

Kofi gets helped off by officials and suddenly Ziggler ambushes once again, this time on Woods. Ziggler and Woods brawl. The crowd tries to rally behind Woods but Ziggler presses his own assault. The two men brawl into the crowd.

Back in the ring, Ziggler batters Woods with a steel chair. Kofi ends up running back out with a chair of his own and drives Ziggler into retreat, away from his New Day brother.

Ziggler disappears momentarily but comes back out to the main stage, as Kofi is helping Woods to his feet. Ziggler tells Kofi he’s been spending too much time worrying about Lesnar and his MITB contract. Kofi should have been worrying about Ziggler, he says. Ziggler says he admires Kofi and always said how good he was, but all the same it should have been him. And at Super Showdown in 11 days, Ziggler says he’ll take Kofi’s title because it should have been him and so it will be! Ziggler takes his leave as the crowd starts chanting Kofi’s name.

Singles Match: Shane McMahon (with Drew McIntyre) vs. Lance Anoa’i

Before the match even gets started, McIntyre decimates Lance and leaves him battered and broken. Then Shane calls for the bell and the match begins, leaving Lance simply a lamb to the slaughter. Lance makes some minor attempts to get into the fight, but Shane ends up tapping him out with a Triangle Choke.

Winner: Shane McMahon

After the match, Shane continues applying submission holds to Lance and talks trash about his family, including Roman Reigns himself. Reigns’ music hits and he comes out to the rescue, with an angry snarl on his face. He chases down Shane and lands a Superman Punch. As he goes for a Spear, McIntyre pulls Shane out of harm’s way and they take their leave urgently.

MITB winner Brock Lesnar comes out again with Paul Heyman in tow. Universal Champ Seth Rollins comes out and tries goading Lesnar into cashing in on him right then and there. Heyman starts to banter and states that Lesnar has a whole year to cash-in. Lesnar starts slapping around even Heyman over this, as apparently he didn’t know he had so much time.. Lesnar grabs the mic and tells Rollins he apparently has a whole year, so he doesn’t have to choose someone now. “Screw you,” Lesnar says to Rollins, before taking his leave. Rollins stands in the ring, looking frustrated, as Lesnar walks off.
