Royal Expert Calls on Meghan Markle to ‘Keep Her Mouth Shut’

A royal expert who was close friends with Princess Diana spoke out this week to say that Meghan Markle needs to be sure to stay quiet about her liberal political views so that she does not alienate many of the Royal supporters.

Fox News reported that royal biographer Lady Colin Campbell said that Meghan should try to “keep her mouth shut” and should also make “some adjustments to her personality and beliefs.” She then questioned if Meghan had “the modesty to understand that she’s in a unique role for hundreds of millions of people.”

Campbell went on to point out the importance of the royal family remaining politically neutral.

“We must hope she realizes that her vision is not the only vision. Royals must represent all of the people, and all of the people cannot agree with your point of view,” Campbell explained. “She should remember she’s not a political activist. There are many conservative people, all over the world, many religious people, who do not have these ‘woke’ and ‘right-on’ views.”

During her years in Hollywood, Meghan was an outspoken feminist who regularly spoke out to bash President Donald Trump. Though she’s tried to tone down her liberal views since becoming a royal, she’s slipped up on a few occasions.

Though she wants her to stay quiet about politics, Campbell also had some nice things to say about Meghan, including that she “is in many ways Harry’s superior — she’s more intelligent, more together, and more strong-willed.” She then compared her to Harry’s mother, Princess Diana.

“We must hope that Meghan has no psychological instability — as Diana had — and won’t hit the buffers at any point, as Diana did,” Campbell said, adding that she is not as concerned about the Duchess. “Meghan is much better educated and more academic. Meghan is almost disturbingly self-confident.”

While it is likely difficult for Meghan to stay quiet about her politics, Campbell is right about how crucial it is that she does so. Queen Elizabeth has ensured the royal family’s survival this long by remaining politically neutral at all times. If Meghan starts being outspoken about her leftwing views, she may just bring about the end of the British royal family.
