Lori Loughlin Panicking as She Realizes Daughter’s Will Likely Be Charged

Lori Loughlin has reportedly gone into full panic mode as she fears that her two daughters are about to be criminally charged in an attempt by prosecutors to pressure to plead guilty in her college admissions scandal.

We reported last week that one of Loughlin’s two daughters had received a letter informing her that she was officially under investigation. Daily Mail reported that in the wake of this letter being sent out, sources say that Loughlin “has every reason to believe” that daughters Isabella Rose, 20, and Olivia Jade, 19, could be targeted by prosecutors.

“Lori will not do anything to put her daughters in harm’s way,” the source said. “She is like a mama bear when it comes to the girls, and she will do whatever she has to do to protect them from prosecution, especially malicious prosecution. Her top priority in all of this is to protect her daughters.”

The insider added that Loughlin sees it as a very real possibility that prosecutors will charge the girls “in an attempt to get them [Loughlin and husband Mossimo Giannulli] to plead guilty.”

“Investigators have not disclosed any information that they may or may not have that would implicate either one of the daughters,” the source continued.

Loughlin and Giannulli are facing forty years in prison after prosecutors alleged that they paid $500,000 in bribe money to have each of their daughters admitted to the University of Southern California as recruits for the crew team, even though neither girl had ever rowed in their lives. Though Loughlin and Giannulli were offered a generous plea deal that would have only put them in prison for a few months, they rejected it and chose to plead not guilty instead.

While it’s nice to see that Loughlin cares about her daughters, she should have thought about how her actions would affect them before she broke the law. If she really believes prosecutors are only going after the girls to pressure her to plead guilty, Loughlin should own up to what she did and enter that guilty plea. Not only should she do it to save her daughters, but she should do it to teach them a lesson about taking responsibility for their actions in life.

It’s time for Loughlin and her husband to put a stop to this circus by pleading guilty and doing their time behind bars. Until then, things will only get worse for their daughters in terms of both the media scrutiny they will face and the constant threat of criminal charges looming over them. In the end, if Loughlin wants to show the world what a good mother she is, there’s only one thing she needs to do: plead guilty.

James Conrad

James Conrad’s passion for politics is only overshadowed by his longstanding interest in Hollywood. His unique perspective as a gay conservative fuels him to challenge celebrity views and those who think they have a right to tell anyone how to think or vote. James proudly wields his minority point of view to combat identity politics and cut through his typecast. Fun fact: James’ guilty pleasure is the British royal family.
