Daniel Bryan Pulled From Events, Big Double Or Nothing Match Added

– We have not heard from Daniel Bryan since he dropped the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 35 to Kofi Kingston. We do know he is dealing with an undisclosed injury and now he has been pulled from Smackdown live events all weekend. Taking his place against Kingston will be Randy Orton.

While Bryan is advertised to work this Tuesday’s SmackDown, that is also up in the air as the card is always subject to change.

Bryan has a long history of concussions, which caused him to retire from the business for almost two years. He returned at WrestleMania 34 after being cleared by several top notch doctors. When it pertains to Bryan, WWE has been careful when it comes to him getting checked out by medical staff due to the seriousness of concussions; especially the ones the former champion has dealt with.

Stay tuned as we hope to have more in the coming days about Bryan’s status.

– In a bonus episode of Youtube’s “The Road To Double Or Nothing,” we learned that Cody Rhodes will take on his brother Dustin Rhodes at All Elite Wrestling’s (AEW) Double Or Nothing event.

The two have battled before, but only under the WWE name. There were rumbling for the past month that Dustin (known to fans as Goldust) would be wrapping up with WWE and heading to AEW; despite him denying those rumors as false. Besides Dustin wrestling at the show, we will have to wait and see if he becomes a full-time member of AEW in a backstage role.

Double or Nothing is May 25 from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Below is the updated card.

Kenny Omega vs. Chris Jericho

Cody vs. Dustin Rhodes

“Hangman” Adam Page vs. Pac

AAA World Tag Team Title Match: The Young Bucks vs. Lucha Bros

Dr. Britt Baker vs. Nyla Rose vs. Kylie Rae

SoCal Uncensored (Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian, and Scorpio Sky) vs. Cima, TBA, and TBA

Over the Budget Battle Royale: Sonny Kiss, Kip Sabian, Brandon Cutler, Ace Romero, Glacier, Brian Pillman Jr., Sunny Daze, MJF, Joey Janela and TBA
