Most people were planning for fireworks in last night’s bout between Junior dos Santos and Derrick Lewis, and the heavyweights certainly delivered those at UFC Wichita.
Dos Santos went on to finish Lewis in round two, but the opening round featured a fascinating exchange. “Cigano” appeared to hurt Lewis badly with a spinning kick to the body, but as dos Santos approached, the feared slugger sprung up and just missed with a massive right.
