Edmen Shahbazyan scored a victory via first round TKO over Charles Byrd Saturday night at UFC 235.
Shahbazayan landed with an elbow and finished off Byrd in the main event of the UFC Fight Pass portion of the event from Las Vegas.
During his post-fight interview with ESPN, Shahbazayan casually mentioned where his finish came from – Travis Browne – and what he learned from Ronda Rousey during her climb through the ranks of the UFC.
Rousey also took note of the performance, posting on Instagram “Amazing performance, so proud of you! This is just the beginning!”
