Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has found himself in hot water with liberals this week after he said it was an “honor” that a United States military tank was named after him.
Fox News reported that it all started last week when the 1st Armored Division at Fort Bliss took to Twitter to reveal that they had named one of their tanks after “The Rock.”
“If you smell what America’s Tank Division is cooking!”

Johnson was so proud when he heard this that he took to Instagram to thank the soldiers both for this honor and for their service to our country.
“I’m sending a salute of respect & gratitude to the Blackhawk Squadron ?? 1st Armored Division for the honor of naming their tank (the most advanced in the world) Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson,” Johnson captioned his Instagram post. “Heavy duty, bad a–, sexy AF and built to take care of business ? — but most importantly, thank you all for your service. Grateful to the bone.”
One would think that this message of gratitude to the U.S. military would not be controversial at all, but unfortunately, Johnson’s post was “triggering” to a litany of liberal snowflakes who immediately hit him with major backlash.
“That’s not something to be very proud of because it’ll be your name on that tank that’ll kill innocent people,” one social media user commented, with another adding, “Not sure having a destructive weapon named after you is such a great honor.”
“Well I really like you as a person and everything but what is a tank meant for?” a third user wrote. “If it is to take the lives of human beings and others then it is not admirable… I hope it won’t be used… May God bless you all ❤️ Peace and Love.”
Oh for goodness sake! So now we can’t even show pride in our own military without being hit with ridiculous attacks. No wonder so many American veterans feel so under-appreciated when it comes to all of the sacrifices that they make for their country.
Liberals like to ignore the fact that members of the military and weapons like this tank are what protect the freedoms that they hold so dear. They seem to wish that the U.S. military would be disbanded altogether, but if that were to happen, we’d be left completely defenseless and undoubtedly swiftly be taken over by a superpower that likely would be far less tolerant of some of the left’s habits than the American right is. If liberals think they are being “oppressed” now by Republicans, imagine how they’d handle living under a regime like Kim Jong-Un’s in North Korea!
Having an American military tank named after you IS a huge honor and it is something that Johnson should continue to be proud of. It’s sad that liberals are trying to take this special moment from him and hopefully, he’ll continue to ignore them and honor our military servicemen and women however he can!
