– The past days have seen RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey and Becky Lynch trading non PG level tweets, which has angered some in WWE.
Diva Dirt reports that the social media aspect was planned by WWE, but Rousey and Becky went too far. Since the twitter exchange, Rousey is said to be legitimately angered at Becky Lynch.
The plan remains for Rousey vs. Becky vs. Charlotte Flair happen at WrestleMania 35. They have been rumored to close the show; in another WWE first.
– Former WWE star Kamala (real name James Harris) is currently in a Mississippi hospital for a stomach infection. He has been there since February 16 and there is no word on when he might get out.
The 68 year old as been suffering from several health issues over over the past decade. In November 2011, he had his left leg amputated below the knee due to complications of high blood pressure and diabetes. Then in April 2012, his right leg was also amputated below the knee. He had life-saving surgery in November 2017 to clear fluid from around his heart and lungs. At one point, he was placed on life support for several days due to complications from the surgery.
Gil Culkin, who runs a Facebook page about Mississippi’s professional wrestling history from the 1960s through 1980s, spoke to Harris’ wife and posted the following message last week:
“Asking all to keep James “Sugar Bear/Ugly Bear” Harris, aka Kamala in your thoughts and prayers. Just talked with his wife and James has been in the hospital since this past Saturday with some type stomach infection and she wasn’t sure how much longer he would be there. James has been through so much but has always kept an upbeat attitude and he has remained the same humble man I first met in Greenwood, Ms in 1977. Just one more legend that got his start right here in Mississippi.”
