– Roman Reigns retuned to WWE this past Monday on RAW to let the fans know that his leukemia is in remission. It was a joyous moment considering only months ago Reigns had to relinquish the Universal Championship and make his battle against the disease public knowledge.

Now with Reigns back in the fold, everyone wants to know when he will wrestle again and if a Shield reunion is in the works. According to local advertisements in the Cleveland area, fans will get part of their wish as Reigns & Seth Rollins vs. Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley & Baron Corbin in a handicap match has been mentioned on radio and TV. There was speculation that Dean Ambrose could be added to the mix, but he is not listed for any shows past WrestleMania 35. As reported earlier, Ambrose informed WWE officials that he would not be renewing his contract. Some are taking the Ambrose storyline as a work, so we will have to see what happens in a month.

– One of the longest employees of WWE is Howard Finkel, being one of the first people Vince McMahon hired after purchasing the company from his father. Sadly, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter states that Finkel has been sick for some time and the situation has not improved.

There were no details about what is affecting the 68 year old WWE Hall of Famer other than Jerry “The King” Lawler noting how his podcast how he suffered a serious stroke. While Finkel was slowly phased out of the picture on TV over the past 15 years, he would usually make an appearance at a pay per view. Due to health issues, Finkel has not been present on WWE TV for some time.

Hopefully, Finkel recovers and he once again graces a WWE ring. From everyone at WrestleNewz, we are pulling for the long time WWE ring announcer.
