Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Get Political – Hire Hillary Clinton’s Former Advisor

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have just made what appears to be a political move by hiring Sara Latham, who acted as Hillary Clinton’s senior advisor during her 2016 presidential campaign, as the head of their communications team. This has come as bad news to many of their fans, as it indicates that Harry and Meghan would like to start making more politically liberal moves.

The British royal family has always made a point to remain politically neutral, which is partly how they have survived this long. That’s why the hiring of Latham is already being seen as controversial.

“Sara Latham has been appointed to head up communications for The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, reporting directly to The Queen’s Communication Secretary,” Kensington Palace said in a statement, according to Fox News. “Sara joins from Freuds where she oversaw global corporate accounts with a particular emphasis on executive thought leadership and purpose-led campaigns.”

Meghan Markle’s liberal history

It’s no secret that Meghan is a complete liberal who has been aching to be allowed to speak out about politics again. She spent years as a member of the Hollywood elite, and during that time, she was outspoken about her leftwing views. In one 2016 interview, Meghan angrily slammed Trump and admitted that she would be voting for Clinton in the election.

“Yes, of course, Trump is divisive, think about female voters alone, right? I think it was in 2012 the Republican Party lost the female vote by 12 points; that is a huge number and with as misogynistic as Trump is, and so vocal about it, that is a huge chunk of it,” Meghan said at the time. “You’re not just voting for a woman if it’s Hillary because she’s a woman, but certainly because Trump has made it easy to see that you don’t really want that kind of world that he’s painting.”

Lady Colin Campbell, who was a close friend of Princess Diana, said last year that Meghan’s liberal politics have been rubbing off on Harry and have isolated him from many of his friends.

“Her politics are an issue. She is ultraliberal and that trendy-lefty stuff does not go down well with some of Harry’s friends,” Campbell told The Daily Beast.

Rumors have been swirling for months that Meghan hates having to be politically neutral and would like to find a way of expressing her liberal views once again. Her hiring of Latham certainly indicates that she could be well on her way to accomplishing this goal.

There’s a good reason why the British royal family has remained politically neutral all these years. Queen Elizabeth understands that she has supporters on all sides of the political spectrum and that she should not alienate anyone by taking political stances. Harry and Meghan may think that they are doing the right thing by making politically liberal moves, but in reality, all they are doing is alienating a large portion of their fanbase. If they take these liberal moves too far, they may end up destroying the British royal family forever.
