– Some within the WWE Universe may remember Eric Angle, Kurt’s brother, from his short stint with the WWE in the early 2000s. The resemblance between the two is uncanny, especially when both have their heads shaves. Regardless, he’s recently been a coach for amateur wrestling; however, this could come to a screeching halt due to recent events.

WTAE.com is reporting that Eric was arrested and charged with assault after a Junior Wrestling Tournament took place. It is being said by witnesses that the scene was not a good one. According to the report, Eric grabbed a juvenile wrestler from the neck when he lost his match; tossing the youngster to the mat when he let go.

A video clip of the encounter can be accessed by clicking here. Viewers can see the incident occur in the background of the video (with Eric Angle highlighted by a circle).

There have been charges filed against Eric Angle, and he has since released the following statement:

“I should have just walked away and let him get thrown out. Instead, I’m the one who embarrassed myself even more.”

WNZ will keep you posted on any further developments in this story.

WNZ reported yesterday about the fact that apparently WWE’s head honcho Vince McMahon isn’t too keen on recent NXT call up, EC3. While the former Impact Champion had a pretty decent run in WWE’s developmental brand, he’s barely been profiled on either Monday Night RAW or SmackDown LIVE as of late, and it seems WWE Creative has very little for him right now. He made his official main roster debut in early February of this year.

Interestingly enough, yesterday was EC3’s birthday, but rather than an appearance on RAW, the WWE Universe Twitter handle sent out a tweet, wishing him well on his day. What was EC3’s response? See below:

Interesting comment from EC3 to say the least. With the Road to Wrestlemania in full swing, here’s hoping the WWE has plans for this talent come mid-April when the brand extension draft hits.
