King Kong Bundy Passes + Alexa Bliss Currently Injured (Again)?

– The wrestling community once again morns a huge loss to the industry, as former WWE superstar Chris Pallies, better known to fans as King Kong Bundy, died yesterday. He was 61 years old.

At over 450 pounds, standing 6-foot-4, Bundy made a splashing wrestling debut in 1981 as a heel in the then-known World Wrestling Federation. He would experience some tremendous success in the company during the ‘80s and ‘90s, and is probably most known for his incredible Wrestlemania 2 main event, where he faced Hulk Hogan in a steel cage for the WWF World Heavyweight Championship.

The announcement was made via social media, as David Herro, Pallies’ long-time friend placed a post on Facebook regarding Bundy’s death.

No details as of yet around the reason behind the WWE legend’s passing; however, WNZ will keep you posted if any information is released regarding this.

– Many WWE fans were ecstatic when Alexa Bliss officially returned to in-ring action at the 2019 Royal Rumble event. Sadly, Little Miss Bliss has not participated in much matches since, and has been seen on WWE television within non-action roles as of late. In fact, she hasn’t been doing any house shows as well, which has many within the WWE Universe worried.

Wrestling Observer Radio’s Dave Meltzer recently chimed in on Bliss’ status, and the news is not good. It seems Alexa is currently injured once again; however there is little information around what she is suffering from and the severity of her injury this time around.

With Bliss losing so much in-ring time in the recent past, here’s hoping Five Feet of Fury gets on the mend and soon. She was out for a long while leading up to the Royal Rumble, thanks to concussion issues. Wrestlemania is a mere four weeks away, and it is an event no superstar wants to miss.
