If all goes according to plan, it looks like Holly Holm will remain on the UFC roster for several more years…

The former bantamweight champ and ridiculously, decorated boxer had two fights left on her previous UFC contract. But, now Holm’s manager, Lenny Fresquez, has confirmed to ESPN that the star has signed a six-fight extension with the promotion.

No financial details of the contract were disclosed.

“I’m very happy with the deal,” Fresquez said. “We worked feverishly with the UFC to get this done.”

So, when you consider that Holm is now 37, and that these days, top tier fighters typically compete twice a year, this deal could conceivably be the last she signs. Holm (12-4) hasn’t fought now since last June, when she defeated Megan Anderson by unanimous decision. So, don’t be surprised if she’s added to an upcoming, summer event soon.
