The Undertaker

– A ton of eyebrows were raised in the wrestling world recently when it was announced that one of the WWE’s biggest superstars of all time, the Undertaker, would be appearing at Starrcast II. While the event is in conjunction with All Elite Wrestling’s (AEW) Double or Nothing event, it does not mean that The Phenom will be working with or for the new promotion; however, it does make people wonder about The Deadman’s contract status with the WWE.

The Wrestling Observer Radio’s Dave Meltzer recently chimed in on this question, stating ‘Taker’s contract as a wrestler with the company has expired. He is not currently booked for Wrestlemania 35, nor the next event taking place in Saudi Arabia. Having said that, if the Prince does want to see The Phenon, Meltzer noted that they’d probably have the money to offer him so that he could make it to another event. Still, overall, it does seem that Undertaker is now a “retired” superstar.

The Phenom is currently asking for $25,000/hour for an appearance, or $60,000 for three hours, which seems to be why he is doing Starrcast.

As per WNZ’s post yesterday afternoon, Jimmy Uso was arrested yesterday after a confrontation with Detroit police. He and wife Naomi were pulled over in their car, and she was in the driver’s seat. Reports indicate that Naomi was driving the wrong way down a one-way street.

News broke on Valentine’s day, and shortly before TMZ released the story, Rusev posted this on Twitter:

Could he be rubbing salt in the wound or was it just an innocent post to some fellow wrestling buddies?

Speaking of tweets, Naomi recently hopped on Twitter and commented on the yesterday’s incident. Post below:

With Naomi and Jimmy both involved in high-level matches at this Sunday’s Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, here’s hoping they could put this situation behind them and focus on keeping themselves out of the media spotlight (in a negative way), moving forward.
