Cain Velasquez’s career has been repeatedly halted by injuries and surgeries. But according to his buddy and teammate, Daniel Cormier, there’s no questions Velasquez is the greatest heavyweight in UFC history.
At UFC Phoenix tomorrow, Velasquez will return to the cage for the first time since 2016, for a scrap with feared slugger, Francis Ngannou. The bout will mark just the third time Velasquez has fought since 2013.
Recently the UFC posted the video below, which features Cormier previewing the fight. “DC” praises Ngannou for his abilities and fearsome power, before arguing that Velasquez is “easily” the best heavyweight the Octagon has seen.
